Shocking Truth From a Liberal Zealot

Only occasionally are we given a taste of the truth from the liberal left in the flood of deception that dominates their reporting. In the current election year we are bombarded with the illusion that the economy is on the mend with our great leader is guiding us in the direction that guarantees unbounded prosperity for all. But according to Krugman, "our economy remains deeply depressed". I'm sure it is not nearly as depressed as Obama's propaganda ministers reading this article.

Dead-Cat-Bounce Recovery

Heritage Foundation describes Krugmans analysis of the situation as a dead cat bounce. This is a term commonly used to to describe a stock rapidly declining in value that will briefly recover "Derived from the idea that even a dead cat will bounce if it falls from a great height"

America is being treated like mushrooms -- keep 'em in the dark and feed 'em poo-poo! Thank heaven not everyone is buying it! Good, directed Hub. Voted up. Best/Sis

Krugman is doing his part to ease us into the coming shock. If those discouraged workers who left the job market actually believe that the economy is improving, they will start seeking jobs again and be counted as 'unemployed'. That will make the unemployment rate skyrocket, and the White House knows it.

So does Krugman!

If Paul Krugman believe the economy is headed for another downturn, I, for one, am looking forward to a great expansion this year. Krugman has been wrong for so long it has become a habit with him.

Even a blind hog finds an acorn from time to time. Considering our out of control spending and the recent to threat of a second downgrade by S&P, I believe him to be correct

jr3 - Many an economist has stated that the federal government is prolonging this recession by bad government policies and at the same time pulling out the smoke and mirrors to camouflage what most of us already know. We're still in a recession.
